Meet the Team

Katie

Office Manager and Front Desk

I am so glad you are visiting our website and welcome! I will be one of the first people you talk with when you call or email our office. I have been a part of Selah Family Dentistry for many years. I always look forward to meeting new people, listening to what they need, and finding a way to help them achieve their best smile. I was originally trained as a dental assistant and now I use those skills at the Front Desk to help ensure all aspects of your visit with us are positive, informative and beneficial.

I truly enjoy the wonderful people I work with, but at the end of the day I get to go home to the love of my life and our two kids. We enjoy being outside in the summer, Netflix in the Winter and we try to take motorcycle road trips as often as possible.

Kristina

Treatment Coordinator and Insurance Specialist

I was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. I have been working in dentistry since high school and have been here at Selah Family Dentistry since 2004.

I worked my first eight years in this practice as a dental assistant and use that knowledge to help people plan and get the dental care that they need. Part of my job is to assist patients with insurance questions and help them understand their treatment plans. I love to help patients achieve their dental goals!

When I am not at work, I enjoy hanging-out with my husband and three children. We love sports and you can usually find me attending one of my kids sporting events.

Andrea

Recall Coordinator and Dental Assistant

I've been working in the dental field for the last 10 years. To say I enjoy dentistry is an understatement. My job and my coworkers are amazing. I grew up in Selah and graduated from Selah High School in 2005. I recently was married and I enjoy spending my free-time with my husband. I also love to sing and I'm very involved in my church! I love a good laugh, and I'm convinced that there is a song-lyric or a movie-quote to fit every aspect of life!

Tracie

Dental Hygienist

For the past eight years I’ve had the pleasure of working for this office and with this amazing team. I love my job because I get the opportunity to get to know my patients as they come in for dental check-ups and cleanings!

I grew up in East Valley and went to school here in the Yakima Valley. I have four crazy dogs and I have a habit of trying to collect and save more animals. I enjoy reading, watching The Walking Dead, and anything sci-fi!!!

Gina

Dental Hygienist

I have over 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University and played collegiate sports. I love working with a Dental Team that treats patients like Family!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my Husband, Ken and my kids Dylan and Karly. I have a passion for health and fitness and like to play recreational soccer and love the sport of Crossfit.

My motto is “Find something every day to laugh about, even if it means laughing at yourself!”

Erika

Dental Assistant

I have been in the dental field for quite a few years and in several states including: Florida, where I received my dental assisting degree, Charleston, South Carolina, and here in the Yakima Valley.  We moved from South Carolina after visiting Washington on Vacation. I have been with Selah Family Dentistry for over 10 years! My favorite part of my job is that I get to meet so many people. I love to make my patients feel comfortable and do my very best to make them feel welcome.

I love living in the Yakima Valley, as it is a great place to raise my three daughters and my granddaughter. I enjoy tennis, my husband and I have played competitively for many years.

In 2012 I got my Dental Assisting Certificate, and started working here at Selah Family Dentistry. I enjoy everyone I work with and I am happy to be part of such an amazing team. I grew up near Royal City, WA, a small town in the middle of nowhere. I met my husband Daniel while we were in high school there. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog Gunner. I have been in the Yakima area since 2005. I enjoy doing outdoor activities; camping, hiking, swimming, snowboarding, and much more.
